The Briarwood bed and breakfast, circa 1862, is one of the first and finest historic Bed and Breakfasts to welcome you to both Halifax and Nova Scotia. We are conveniently located in Elmsdale, only minutes from the Halifax International Airport and as such we can make an early or late departure a breeze.

While at the Briarwood you can relax and warm yourself by a fire in the front parlor, a room that has been transfixed in time. Across the entry hall enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the formal dining room or in the solarium if sun is your pleasure. If you find yourself with time to spare then you may wish to watch a movie, play a game or just recline by the fire and read a favorite book in the gathering room.
